Company Milestones / History

Burleson Truck HistoricalBurleson Construction Co., Inc. is a general construction firm engaged in construction and construction management of commercial and industrial buildings since 1945. We are a third generation locally owned company. We are very proud that 75% of our business is from negotiated contracts, usually with repeat clients. This demonstrates our ability to service and meet our clients’ needs and budgets. Along with competitive prices, we have cultivated a reputation of providing high quality work. Our reputation is based on two fundamentals. The first is for our company to meet or exceed our customer’s needs and expectations. Our second fundamental is to constantly improve to meet and exceed those needs and expectations.

Our workforce is highly experienced with a well-trained field staff. Wayne Woods received the “Project Manager of the Year” award from the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee’s Tri Cities Branch suppliers and subcontractors for 1992, 1994, 1996, 2006, 2007 2008 2009, 2010 & 2015. We keep this high level of workforce by continually using skill training programs, skill certification programs, safety programs, and substance abuse programs. Our 2016 experience modification factor of 0.76 is evidence that we take the safety of our work areas seriously. We work to build lasting relationships based upon quality and responsive services.

Our company is a firm believer in giving back to the local community not only monetary gifts but personal time also. We are active with the local Boy Scouts of America Organization, United Way, Mountain States Health Alliance, Dawn of Hope, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, and March of Dimes. We are also active in the local Associated General Contractor’s Chapter. Officers in our company have served in all elected positions for the local AGC Chapter and the state chapter.
